4 - INSTALLATION OF THE COF-
FEE GRINDER

4.1 Warnings

The installation shall be carried out by qualified
personnel in compliance with the instructions
provided by the Manufacturer and Standards in
force.
The machine shall be located and installed in
a place where use and maintenance are the
responsibility of qualified personnel only.
4.2 Preparation of the system for in-
stallation
Set the machine support on a horizontal, properly
levelled, dry, smooth, solid, stable plane.
Do not use water jets or install the machine in
places where water jets are used.
To ensure the normal operation, the appliance
should be installed in environments where
temperature ranges between +0°C and +32°C
and humidity does not exceed 70%.
The machine is electrically powered and needs
for working of:

- connection to mains electricity supply.

4.2.1 Connection to mains electricity
supply
Warnings:
- The connection to the mains electricity supply
shall be executed by qualified personnel.
- The system shall be set in compliance with
existing Standards and grounded.
The machine is supplied with power cable
equipped with plug; in the permanent connection
to mains electricity supply, between the machine
and the power mains, interpose a protection
omnipolar switch, with minimum opening between
overvoltage-category III contacts, proportional to
the charge and in compliance with Standards in
force.

4.3 Equipotential connection

This connection, prescribed by some Standards,
has the function to avoid differences of electric
potential among the masses of the machines
installed in the same room. This machine is preset
with a clamp placed under the base to connect an
external wire, with eyelet terminal to be inserted
between the two nuts, with nominal section in
compliance with Standards in force.

5 - USE OF THE COFFEE GRINDER

5.1 Switching on the machine

Warnings:
Should traces of coffee be detected, these are
due to the factory inspections.
1) Lift the lid (Fig. 01; pos. 8) and introduce some
coffee beans into the hopper (Fig. 01; pos. 9).
can be dangerous; therefore, never put
fingers and/or other objects into it.
2) Close the lid (Fig. 01; pos. 8).
3) Check the gate fully opens (Fig. 01; pos. 1) by
pushing it towards the grinder-dispenser.
4) Plug in.
5) Set the main switch (Fig. 01; pos. 13) to
position "1" (switch light on); the blue LED (Fig.
01, pos. 18), when on, indicates the operation
of the mills assembly.

6) When the dispenser (Fig. 01; pos. 11) is
sufficiently full of ground coffee, switch the
machine off by setting the main switch (Fig.
01; pos. 13) to position "0" (switch light off).

Do not overfill the dispenser (Fig. 01; pos. 11)
