Getting started
a) Functional Description
By means of this weekly timer switch, 8 different on/off periods (blocks) can be programmed.
The following settings for the days of the week, or groups of days, are also available:
(Mo = Monday, Tu = Tuesday, We = Wednesday, Th = Thursday, Fr = Friday, Sa = Saturday,
Su = Sunday); (ON, OFF)
Either individual days "Mo", "Tu", "We", "Th", "Fr", "Sa", "Su", or different groups

The connected load can also be switched on and off manually. An integrated back-up battery
protects the weekly timer switch in the event of a short-duration power failure.
b) Installation / Electrical Connection
In the interests of your own safety, you must always comply with the safety
instructions.
Only a specialist who is familiar with the specifications (VDE) and the dangers
should install this product.
• First, remove the transparent plastic protection strips on the side of the weekly timer switch.
They are only there to protect the backup battery in the device from premature discharge.
• Install the weekly timer switch on the switchboard or in the distribution box of a domestic
electrical installation.
• The connection is made with screw terminals.

Operation
Watch the display while making all settings.
a) Setting the time of day
Press and hold down the button "CLOCK"; with the key "HOUR" key (for hours) and the button
"MIN" (for minutes) to set the correct time by pressing repeatedly. If you hold down the buttons
"HOUR" and "MIN" the fast set starts.
b) To set the day(s) of the week
Press and hold down the "CLOCK" button; using the "DAY" button the correct weekday or
group can be set by briefly pressing it repeatedly.
c) To set the timer:
1. Press the "TIMER" button briefly. You are now in Block 1. "ON ----" appears in the display.
2. With the "DAY" button, the weekday or the group, for which the connected load is to be
switched on or off, can be set.
3. Set the desired time, with the "HOUR" and "MIN" buttons, when the connected load is to
be switched "ON".
4. Press the "TIMER" button again. "OFF - - - -" now appears in the display.
5. Using the "DAY", as well as "HOUR" and "MIN" buttons, set the desired time, as well as
week day or group, when the connected load is to be switched "OFF".
The other 7 blocks can now be set, one after the other, as described above!
6. Press the "CLOCK" key; the current time and weekday are once again shown in the display.
d) Function settings "ON" ⇔ "AUTO" ⇔ "OFF"
To set the required operating mode, press the "MANUAL" button, until the desired status
appears in the display. Watch the bottom line of the display to see which operating mode is set.
ON
The connected load is switched on manually and the red LED lights up.
AUTO
The timer settings will run automatically.
OFF
The connected load is switched off manually and the red LED goes out.
e) To cancel/change entries:
Press the "TIMER" button again to call up the data that is already set. Use the "DAY",
"HOUR" and "MIN" buttons to correct incorrect settings as well as to make changes in the
respective blocks 1-8.
f) Reset:
Use the "RESET" button to delete all the settings.
Care and Cleaning
• Disconnect the product from the mains before each cleaning.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as
they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
• Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance
with applicable regulatory guidelines.
Remove any inserted batteries and dispose of them separately from the product.
b) Batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used
batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated batteries are labeled with this symbol to indicate that disposal in the
domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals involved are:
Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on batteries, e.g. below the trash
icon on the left).
Used batteries can be returned to collection points in your municipality, our stores or wherever
batteries are sold.
You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
