3. Product Operation

Power the product with the brown wire =+24Vdc and with the blue wire = 0V. During the first installation,
the yellow LED flashes three times indicating that it is waiting for a badge to be presented. Once the
badge is presented, the LED blinks three times and then turns off. So, the product has locked the code
and it will not be asked again afterwards.
After passing the badge, if the code is recognized, the output "orange wire lock" sends the supply voltage
for 5s and the door can be opened. The LED lights up for as long as the badge is displayed. Validation
at the the badge's first passing and detection of fraud if the badge is attached to the reader. The "E"
option allows you to create groups by assigning an erasing badge per group (E1, E2... etc).
Output "alarm 1 (gray wire)"
If the door remains open for more than 60s (version P1) or 120s (version P), the "alarm" output sends
the supply voltage until the door closes or after the timeout. This is of the non-retriggerable type (in the
case where the badge is passed several times).
Output "Alarm 2 (white wire)"
The forced opening is seen without badging. In this case the "alarm" output switches on
immediately for 60s (version P1) or 30s (version P) even if the door is closed.

4. Mounting instructions

Equipped with two square brackets, the XR530-P can be fixed simply by means of M4 screws (sup-
plied ZU4 support washers ). Tamper-resistant screws and tool are optional (OBH4). It is equipped with
a multi-conductor wire of 5.5 mm diameter and has a standard length 3, 6 or 12m (other lengths on
request). The sensor wire must be mounted in such a way that it is protected against external damage
by using, for example, mechanical shielding.
