2. Place the snowy owl onto the LED mounting bracket of the solar light unit.
3. Connect the plastic pole to the solar light unit and insert the ground spike into the other end of
the pole
4. Switch on the solar light unit
5. Position the snowy owl in a place where the solar panel can receive direct sunlight all day long
6. Push the ground spike into the ground. The pole must be vertical and securely anchored in the
soil.
7. Peel the protective film off the solar panel, tilt it up and direct it towards the sun.
Using the Solar Light
1. After the battery is fully charged for at least 24 hours, push the power switch from "OFF" position to the
"ON" position.
2. The light will automatically turn on at dusk and off at dawn.
Replacing the Battery
Important: The rechargeable battery will need replacing at least once every 12 months to ensure constant
performance. Ni-Mh rechargeable battery can be used.
Warning: Do not dispose of the battery in the regular trash, municipal waste streams or by fire as the battery
may leak or explode. Do not open, short-circuit or mutilate the battery as this could result in injury. Preserve
our environment by recycling the batteries or disposing of them in accordance with local, state or federal
regulations.
1. Push the power switch to "OFF" position
2. Unscrew the battery house
3. Remove the old battery and replace it with new AAA Ni-Mh rechargeable battery
Disposal
The packaging material is reusable. Rid yourself of the packaging in an environmentally friendly way and put it
in the collection of recyclable materials.
Dispose of the product and the batteries in view of the environment if you want to separate. The
device and the batteries should not be thrown into the household garbage. Bring them to the
recycling center for the used electrical and electronic devices. You can consult to the local
government for more information. Remove the batteries first.
