  • Page 4 INSTALLATION AND ASSEMBLY WARNING Make all connections by following the electrical diagram accompanying the valve actuator. Ensure that all wires linking the actuator to the valve are well connected. Also check that connectors are correctly situated. Make certain that under no circumstances is there water in the electric actuator. Should the intended usage be other than that stipulated here, some adjustments and addi- tional technical regulations may be necessary OPERATION WARNING Before starting up the motorised valve, check the protection equipment calibration in the control box, which should be correctly and securely positioned.

Assicurarsi che i collegamenti dei cavi elettrici dell'attuatore della valvola siano bene saldi.   • Page 8 1 VALVE INSTALLATION 1.1 VERICATION OF VALVE TYPE On opening the packaging check that the valve is the model you ordered. Check that the actuator model corresponds with the code number ordered. Make especially sure that the voltage indicated on the actuator label corresponds to that of your mains supply (actuators do no incorporate valves, meaning that incorrect voltage will cause irreparable damage to the apparatus.

Similary do not connect high-voltage actuators (h 80- 240V) to lower voltage sources. Actuators do not feature fuses and incorrect voltages can cause irreparable damage to the apparatus. Optional accessories: - DPS (Digital positioning System) 4-20mA or 0-10V - BSR (Safety block).

  • Page 38 4.5 SAFETY BLOCK 4.5.1 J+J ACTUATORS SPECIFICATIONS The safety block is a battery back-up designed to allow the valve to be switched to a favorable position. This is not a simple effect in the strict sense of the word, but one that guarantees a number of movements when there is a break in the electrical supply (we recommend a maximum of 2 movements).

Non si tratta di un semplice effetto in senso stretto, pero garantisce un numero di movimenti in caso di caduta di corrente (raccomandati 2 movimenti al massimo) FUNZIONAMENTO All'interno della scatola si trovano delle batterie mantenute in carica dai collegamenti 1-2 (v, schema elettrico).
