WARNING
ROLLER'S electric construction site fans are designed for aeration and deaeration of
rooms, spaces, shafts and cavities as well as aeration and wind cooling of machines,
marquees and event halls. For supporting the exchange of air in damp, musty cellar
rooms, for supporting the drying of, e.g., concrete, masonry, plaster and screed and
for infl ating bouncy castles or hot air balloons, for example.
ROLLER'S Mistral 1360: Designed, in connection with the fi tted dust sack, for sucking
in building dust or sawdust up to fi lter class M.
All other uses are not for the intended purpose and are therefore prohibited.

WARNING
WARNING
Note the mains voltage! Before connecting the device, check whether the
voltage given on the rating plate corresponds to the mains voltage. Only connect
devices of protection class to a socket/extension lead with a functioning protec-
tive contact. On building sites, in a wet environment, indoors and outdoors or
under similar installation conditions, only operate the device on the mains with
a fault current protection switch (RCD) which interrupts the power supply as
soon as the leakage current to earth exceeds 30 mA for 200 ms.

3. Operation
3.1. Installation
Place the construction site fan on a fi rm, level surface and aim it at the work
area. Make sure that the protective grilles (1) are not obstructed.
The ROLLER'S Mistral 1360 may only be stood on its feet.
The ROLLER'S Mistral 2050 can be installed in different positions (Fig. 3).
3.2. Fitting the Exhaust Air and Suction Hose/Dust Sack, ROLLER'S Mistral
1360 (Fig. 4, Fig. 5)
Push the exhaust air and suction hose (8) (accessory art. no. 132307) or dust
sack (accessory art. no. 132308) onto the plastic nozzle and fasten.
3.3. Operation
NOTICE
NOTICE
Observe the air fl ow direction. Make sure that the construction site fan is
facing in the right direction (see arrow 4).
Switching on/off
Switch on the construction site fan at the on/off switch (3). In the ROLLER'S
Mistral 2050 you can switch between the stages "I" (air fl ow rate 1,740 m³/h)
and "II" (air fl ow rate 2,050 m³/h).
Sucking in/blowing out air (Fig. 1)
The construction site fans can be used for creating an air current or for sucking
in ambient air depending on the installation direction. The air fl ow direction is
marked on the ROLLER'S Mistral 1360 by an arrow on the housing.
Blowing out air: Install the construction site fan so that the air outlet (4) is facing
in the direction of the area on which air is to be blown.
With the ROLLER'S Mistral 1360 the air current can be diverted by fi tting the
exhaust air and suction hose (8) on the air outlet side to ventilate remote or
inaccessible areas, for example.
Sucking in air: Install the construction site fan so that the air inlet (5) is facing
in the direction of the air to be sucked in.
With the ROLLER'S Mistral 1360 air can be sucked in from specifi c places by
fi tting the exhaust air and suction hose (8) to the air inlet (5).
Sucking in contaminated air, ROLLER'S Mistral 1360 (Fig. 5): The construction
132300
site fan can be used for sucking in contaminated air containing coarse and fi ne
132301
dust up to dust class M.
132307
To do this, fi x the dust sack (9) to the plastic nozzle (7) of the air outlet (4) and
132308
suck in dirt with the air current and collect it in the dust sack. Before switching
132132
on the construction site fan, provide suffi cient space behind the air outlet (4)
132115
because the dust sack infl ates to its full length. Empty the dust sack now and
again.
4. Maintenance
Notwithstanding the maintenance described below, it is recommended to have
the device inspected and devices re-tested by qualifi ed specialists at least once
a year. Such re-testing of electrical devices is prescribed in accordance with
≤ 90 %
DIN EN 60204 and accident prevention regulation DGUV (German Legal
Accident Insurance Association) regulation 3 "Electrical systems and equip-
ment". In addition, the respective national safety regulations, rules and speci-
fi cations valid for the application site must be observed and followed.
4.1. Servicing
WARNING
WARNING
Pull out the mains plug before maintenance and cleaning work!
Clean plastic parts (e.g. housing) only with a mild soap and a damp cloth. Do
not use household cleaners. These often contain chemicals which can damage
the plastic parts. Never use petrol, turpentine, thinner or similar products for
cleaning.
Make sure that liquids can never penetrate inside the construction site fan.
Never immerse the construction site fan in liquids.
4.2. Inspection/repair
