Do not cover the article during operation in order to prevent the
article from catching fi re.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property
■
Only connect the article to a plug socket with safety contacts
that is properly installed and matches the specifi cations on the
rating plate of the article. The plug socket must also be read-
ily accessible after connection so that the connection to the
mains can quickly be isolated.
■
Only use suitable extension cables corresponding to the spec-
ifi cations on the rating plate of the article.
■
The article must be switched off when the mains adapter is
pulled out or inserted into the plug socket.
■
In the event of a thunderstorm or damage / faults (e.g. unusu-
al noises, odour or smoke development), switch the article off
and pull the mains adapter out of the plug socket. Have the
article checked by an expert before it is used again.
■
Make sure that the mains cable is not squashed, bent or laid
over sharp edges and does not come into contact with hot sur-
faces. Do not wrap the mains cable around the article (danger
of the cable breaking).
■
Never pull or carry the article by the mains cable. When the
mains plug is removed from the plug socket, always pull on the
mains adapter and never the mains cable!
■
Use the article only with the mains adapter supplied with it. Do
not use the mains adapter with any other article.
■
Protect the article from heat, naked fl ames, direct sunlight,
sub-zero temperatures, strong temperature fl uctuations, im-
pacts, persistent moisture and wet conditions.
■
Do not place any heavy objects on the article.

Check the items supplied for completeness and transport dam-
age. If you fi nd any damage to the components, do not use them,
but contact our customer service department.
Remove any fi lms or stickers that may be used for advertising from
the article. Never remove the rating plate and any possible
warnings!
Attaching the Light
1. Attach the suction cups with holder to the light.
2. Attach the light using the suction cups directly to the mirror or
to other smooth and non-greasy surfaces. For a secure hold,
make sure that the suction cups are free of residues.
3. Insert the barrel connector of the mains adapter into the con-
necting socket on the mains cable.
4. Insert the mains adapter into a properly installed plug socket
that is easily accessible.
Switching the Light On / Off
1. Switching on: Press the On / Off switch on the mains cable.
2. Setting brightness levels: Press the On / Off switch twice
to call up the setting for the brightness levels. Select the level
you want (2,700 / 5,200 / 6,500 kelvins) by continuing to press
the On / Off switch.
3. Dimming: Hold down the On / Off switch on the mains cable
until the brightness you want is set. The light fl ashes briefl y on
the highest and lowest brightness setting.

Each time you switch on the light, the brightness level which
was last set will be restored.
4. Switching off: Press the On / Off switch on the mains cable.
5. If the light is not going to be used for a prolonged period of
time, remove the mains adapter from the plug socket.
Cleaning and Storage
PLEASE NOTE!
■
Remove the mains adapter from the plug socket before clean-
ing the article.
■
Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean
the article. These can damage the surface.
•
Clean the article if necessary using a soft, dry cloth.
•
To make it easy to remove the suction cup from the surface,
carefully pull it off using the tab.
•
Store the article in a dry, clean place that is not accessible to
children and animals.
Troubleshooting
If the article does not work properly, fi rst check whether you are
able to rectify the problem yourself. If the problem cannot be
solved with the steps that are listed, contact the customer service
department.
Do not attempt to repair an electrical article yourself!
If the article will not switch on, check the following:
•
Is the mains adapter inserted in the plug socket correctly? Cor-
rect the fi t of the mains adapter.
•
Is the barrel connector of the mains adapter inserted correctly
in the connecting socket on the mains cable? Correct the fi t.
•
Is the plug socket defective? Try another plug socket.
•
Check the fuse of the mains connection.
