BEFORE FIRST USE

1. Remove all packaging and check that the
appliance is in good condition.
2. Remove any labels and adhesives from the
appliance.
3. Wipe the surface of the appliance with a slightly
damp cloth. Dry it completely.
4. Wash the filter tray and the tea filter in hot soapy
water and dry them completely.
5. Rinse the inside of the jug with cold water, then fill
it with water up to the maximum mark (1.7 L)
indicated on the glass surface.
6. Close the cover lid on the jug.
7. Unwind the power cord and place the appliance on
a flat and stable surface.

APPLIANCE USE

Important
➢ The quantity of water in the carafe must be
between the minimum level "MIN" (0.5 L) and
the maximum level "MAX" (1.7 L for water and
1.5 L for brewing tea) indicated on the glass
surface. Please add water as soon as the water
reaches the "MIN" line on the jug.
➢ Never exceed the maximum level mark when
you fill the kettle, otherwise boiling water may
spill out from the spout.
➢ Never use the appliance when it is empty.
➢ Only use still, cold water.
➢ Ensure that the cover lid is securely closed
before plugging the power cord into the wall
outlet.
➢ There is a risk of hot water splashing if the
cover lid is left open.

Heating the water

1. To open the cover lid, press on its top. Take out the
tea filter.
2. Fill the jug with drinking water up to the maximum
mark (1.7 L) indicated on the glass surface.
3. Place the main cover lid without filter on the jug.
4. Place the power base on a flat and stable surface.
5. Place the jug with its cover on the power base.
6. Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.
7. Press the ON/OFF button, the screen displays "ON"
and the screen light indicators switch on. The
heating cycle starts automatically after the jug's LED
lights up blue.
Note: the heating temperature is set by default to
100°C when the kettle is switched on. You can
change the heating temperature any time by

8. Place the jug on the power base.
9. Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.

10. Press the ON/OFF button, the screen displays

heating cycle starts automatically after the jug's LED

11. At the end of heating cycle, an audible signal will

indicators will switch off.
12. Pour out the used water.
13. Repeat a second time this heating cycle at 100°C.

The heating temperature can be set from 40° to
100°C in increments of 5°C.
You can stop the heating cycle at any time by
pressing the ON/OFF button.
8. At the end of heating cycle, an audible signal will
be heard and the appliance will switch off. The light
indicators will switch off.
9. Carefully pour the hot water into a cup while
holding the lid on the jug.
10. Make sure you unplug the power cord from the
wall outlet.

Control panel lock (Child safety lock)

The tea kettle is fitted with an automatic child safety
lock.
The control buttons are automatically locked if no
action is taken for 5 seconds.
To unlock the control panel, press the Programme
selection button

Standby mode

The appliance automatically switches to standby
mode after the heating cycle if no action is taken
within one minute. To exit standby mode, press the
ON/OFF button.
