Precautions for use:
* To ensure the longevity of the pump, turn it on only when submerged under
water.
** Top up the water level directly in the bowl, as often as necessary. Evaporation
of water is a natural phenomenon and will vary greatly according to the
environment in which the fountain is set up (whether there are plants, whether
the room is heated, ventilation, etc.). Your fountain will help to regulate the
hydrometry of your room.
*** IMPORTANT: In order to preserve the natural look of the stone, and to
prevent any build up of limescale, it is essential to use non-calciferous water. Use
a mixture of 2/3 softened or demineralised water and 1/3 tap water, or treat the
water with a descaling product. Calcium neutral water is between 6 and 8 pH.
**** Clean your pump and fountain with a soft brush, at least two or three times
a year. Unplug the pump during handling. If algae starts to form or in the event
of an extended period of absence, completely replace the water.
Problems: the water is not rising
• Check the water level. Check that the pump is plugged in.
• Check that there are no foreign bodies blocking the tube.
• Check that the rotor blade on the pump is not blocked.
Advice:
One way of combatting bacteria in the water: place an approximately 10 cm long
piece of twisted copper wire in the water (for example, stripped electrical cable).
Specifications:
Uses mains power 220 V – 50 Hz.
Power consumption: 4.5 W.
