Instruction manual for AirMan Multi Inflator
Your new AirMan Multi Inflator has been specially designed for simple and efficient inflation of car- and bicycle tires and all
kinds of balls and balloons. The air pump provides a small quantity of air at a relatively high pressure – this means that this
air pump is not suitable for inflating large inflatable objects requiring a large airflow at low pressure such as air mattresses,
inflatable beach toys and inflatable furniture. For this purpose we recommend an AirMan High Volume Inflator.
To activate the air pump – press the on/off switch (1)
The air pump is equipped with a lock-switch (2) to prevent unintentional activation during transportation.
To lock the air pump, slide the lock-switch towards the closed position (b). To deactivate the transportation
lock, slide the lock-switch towards the open position (a). The lock-switch can also be used for continuous operation – press
the start switch (1) and slide the lock-switch to the closed position (b). Important – do not run the air pump for more than 10
minutes in continuous operation mode – and after 10 minutes allow it to cool for a minimum of 10 minutes.
Union Valve
Your air pump is equipped with a union valve (3). When you want to pump up an object, loosen the union valve (counter-
clockwise – A) and push it down over the valve on the object to be inflated – if this cannot be done, fit a suitable adapter.
Tighten the union valve again (clockwise – B) and pump. Loosen the union valve again before removing the air pump from the
object or taking out the adapter.
Adapters
The pump is equipped with an adapter set consisting of: a ball adapter (4), bicycle adapter (5) and a balloon adapter (6).
Inflating tires
Loosen the union valve and press it over the valve on the tire. Tighten the union valve again.
Then press the start switch and pump. Loosen the union valve again before you remove the air pump from the valve of the
tire.
Inflating balls
Loosen the union valve and press the threaded end of a ball adapter into the union valve. Tighten the union valve again so
that the ball adapter is secured.
Carefully push the pointed end of the ball adapter into the ball's valve. Press the start switch and pump. Carefully remove the
ball adapter from the ball. Loosen the union valve again to remove the ball adapter from the union valve
Inflating bicycle tires
Fit the bicycle adapter onto the tire's valve.
Loosen the union valve and press it over the bike adapter. Tighten the union valve again.
Press the start switch and pump. Loosen the union valve again before you remove the air pump from the tire valve. For bikes
with a French valve, loosen the valve screw only halfway before fitting the bike adapter on the valve
Hose with automatic pressure control
Loosen the union valve and fit the threaded end of the hose into the union valve and tighten.
Clip-on the other end onto the valve of the object to be inflated
Pre-set the desired pressure (PSI or Bar) and start inflating. When the correct pressure is reached, the pressure valve
releases automatically.
Hose with dial gauge
The hose with dial gauge is used to monitor the pressure as you inflate.
Loosen the union valve and fit the threaded end of the hose into the union valve and tighten.
Clip-on the other end onto the valve of the object to be inflated.
Follow the pressure increase closely on the dial and stop inflating immediately once the desired pressure has been reached.
