Qualified Personnel

Installation, handling, repairing
Heat pump installation, handling and repairing should only be carried out
by a technically qualified and certificated engineer.
Please note that if an unqualified person carries out any of these tasks
there is a risk of damage to the product and personal injury.
Use, maintenance: competent persons
Heat pump use and general maintenance doesn't require particular competence
and can be carried out by someone with general knowledge of the product, who
has read and fully understood this handbook. If you are unsure, always call a
qualified engineer.

Standards

CE standard conformity
Polytropic heat pumps conform to the following standards:
European electromagnetic standard: 89/336/CEE
and modified: 92/31/CEE, 93/68/CEE, 93/97/CEE.
European low power standard: 73/23/CEE
and French standard: NF EN 60335-1, NF EN 60335-2-40.
Electrical connection
French standard installation reference: NF C 15 100.
