Scope of supply
1x holder with release button
1x snap ring
1x AH screw
4x countersunk screw
Preparatory work
- Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand (see the Owner's Manual).
- Remove the right fork protector (see user manual).
- Remove the front wheel (see user manual).
Assembly
- Select one of the 3 positions.
- Drill assembly hole to 13.5 mm using suitable tool.
NOTE
A lower position results in greater preload of the fork when starting.
- Position holder with release button
from outside.
- Mark position for screws with a pen.
- Remove holder .
- Drill markings to 5 mm using suitable tool.
- Countersink the 5 mm holes either by hand using a 10 mm
drill bit or using a countersink until the head of the countersunk
screw (included) is level with the fork protector.
- Position holder from outside.
- Mount screws from the inside and tighten to 3.5 Nm (Loctite
243™).
- Mount snap ring with screw
fork leg, but do not tighten yet.
Final steps
- Install the left fork protector (see user manual).
- Install the front wheel (see user manual).
- Position snap ring so that the snap area is directly aligned
with the release button .
- Tighten screw to 2.2 Nm (Loctite 243™).
- Take the motorcycle off the lift stand (see user manual).
