10. SIZES OF A BOILER

11. FLUE CONNECTION

The accessories supplied by the manufacturer must be absolutely used.
When choosing the location where the device is to be installed, attention should be paid to
the condition of the flue connection. The conditions specified by the authorized gas
organizations should be complied with for the connection of the flue. Flue connection can not
be made to the following places;
a.
To the stairwells of buildings
b.
To hallways of buildings,
c.
To the lighted parts of buildings,
d.
On the flue wall,
e.
To balconies,
f.
To elevator gaps.
Take care for the following matters with regard to the flue connection.
a.
When the boiler is taken out from the roof, care should be taken that the flue mouth is 1.5 m
distant to the top of the roof and its coverings.
b.
Where there is at least 0,3 m height from the ground and a risk of impact, it should be in a
wire-mesh.
c.
When the flue is taken out of the wall, it must stand at least 18 mm outside the wall.
d.
Horizontally connected flue connections should be mounted with a 2% slope downwards.
e.
In cases where the device is mounted on the garret attics, the flue must be at least 40 cm
above the roof. In these cases it must be insulated with a tire resistant material.
f.
The maximum flue length of the device is 8 m. The maximum flue length is shortened by 1 m
for each bend of 90
g.
Roof tightness must be ensured in vertical flue applications. In cases when the leak tightness
is not ensured, any possible faults in the device are not covered by the warranty.
