Installation and regulation
of power tool elements
Before carrying out any works on the power tool it
must be disconnected from the mains.
Do not draw up the fastening elements
too tight to avoid damaging the thread.
Carriage position (see fig. 1)
The power tool can be moved only when positioned
for carriage (the body pulled down and fixed). When
moved, the power tool has to be held only by carrying
handle 4, or underneath baseplate 10
Before starting any work, position the power tool for
operation
• Slightly press handle 5
• Pull lock 21 all the way out
• Lift the body up smoothly
• To position the power tool for carriage, do the indi-
cated operations in a reverse order
Dust bag mounting / dismounting (see fig. 2)
Before operation put dust bag 27 on dust removing
coupler 2 (see fig. 2). Dump and clean dust bag 27 in
due time
Turn-over protection bracket mounting / dismount-
ing (see fig. 3)
If you are planning to operate the power tool without
fixing it to the worktable (using bolts or clamps), you
should mount bracket 26 and fix it using screw 30 be-
fore starting any work (see fig. 3).
Extension bracket mounting / dismounting (see
fig. 4)
If you are planning to cut long blanks, you should
mount extension brackets 23, adjust them properly
(depending on the blank length) and fix them using
screws 31 (see fig. 4).
Clamp mounting / dismounting (see fig. 5)
In order to fix the blanks properly, mount clamp 15
and fix it using butterfly screw 32 (see fig. 5). Adjust
clamp 15 depending on the length and thickness of the
blank
Installation / replacement of the batteries for the
kerf indicating laser (see fig. 6.1)
• Take off cover 20 (see fig. 6.1).
• Install / replace batteries 33 (AA type) Caution:
during installation of batteries 33, observe correct
polarity.
• Place cover 20 back
Replacement of the saw blade (see fig. 7-8)
After prolonged operation, the saw blade
can become very hot, remove it using
gloves. This will also reduce the risk of
injury by the cutting edge.
• Lift the body to the uppermost position
• Shift moving sliding guard cover 8 to the extreme
upper position (see fig. 7.1).
• Press spindle lock 19 and manually turn saw blade 7
in order to immobilize it (see fig. 7.2) While pressing
spindle lock 19, turn off bolt 35 with Allen key 28 Cau-
tion: bolt 35 is left-hand threaded.
• Take off external flange 36, saw blade 7
• Clean the fixing elements with a soft brush and in-
stall saw blade 7 and external flange 36 on the spin-
dle
• While pressing spindle lock 19, tighten bolt 35 with
Allen key 28 Release spindle lock 19
• Move sliding guard cover 8 to its original position
• Ensure that saw blade 7 does not touch any power
tool elements and can rotate freely
Adjustment of the cutting depth (see fig. 9)
Using bolt 38 and lock-nut 37 adjust the cutting depth
so that saw blade 7 goes into the slit of insert 12 by
max 5 mm in its lowest position
• Loosen lock-nut 37
• Adjust the cutting depth by turning bolt 38 in or out
• Tighten lock-nut 37
Vertical alignment of the body and adjustment of
the 45° tilt (see fig. 10-11)
• Position the body for carriage
• Loosen clamping handle 1 and set the body tilt
angle (90° or 45°) Tighten clamping handle 1
• Place the sides of an alignment setsquare 90°
or 45° (depending on the angle to align) to the sur-
face of saw blade 7 and turntable 11 If the setsquare
sides join the surfaces of saw blade 7 and turntable 11
tightly, then alignment is not needed, otherwise you
have to do it
Use bolt 39 and lock-nut 40 for vertical align-
ment of the body (see fig. 10).
