The Porthole Air Conditioner must be installed in conformity with the requirements of the technical documentation and original
spare parts must be used. Installation and repair by unauthorised or inexpert persons, repairs with non-original spare parts or
repairs without the technical documentation necessary for installation or repair are dangerous and therefore illicit.

Installation based on these suggestions must only be performed together with the technical description, the installation guide,
the instructions for use and the maintenance guide for each type of device. These documents must be carefully read before and
during installation and must be followed meticulously. Particular attention must be paid to safety instructions and general indica-
tions. During installation, observe recognised technical standards and any information provided by the vehicle manufacturer. The

This installation guide applies to the vehicle model indicated on the cover, without a spoiler.
• Torque wrench (5-50 Nm)
• Ratchet wrench with TORX 30 bit
• Ratchet with 8 mm hexagonal socket
If no tightening torque is specified, tighten the screw fittings (hexagonal head bolt and hexagonal nut) in accordance with the fol-
lowing table.
