If the mains cable is damaged it should be replaced immediately – you must contact

NM Beauty Industries B.V. via info@gisou.com as repairs may only be performed in the
factory in which the Gisou Curling Tool was originally produced.
Never leave the Gisou Curling Tool unattended while it is connected to a power
ƒ
supply.
When disconnecting the Gisou Curling Tool from the power supply, never pull the
ƒ
power cable or the Gisou Curling Tool itself to unplug it from the electrical socket.
Do not wind the mains cable around the Gisou Curling Tool.

Keep the mains cable away from hot surfaces.
ƒ
The Gisou Curling Tool is hot while in use. Use the handle at all times. Never touch
ƒ
the ceramic heating barrel when the Gisou Curling Tool is turned on or cooling down
to avoid burns.
Make sure that the mains cable is not twisted or kinked when stored.
ƒ
Never use the Gisou Curling Tool where aerosol (spray) products are being used or
ƒ
where oxygen is released.
Do not leave the Gisou Curling Tool switched on whilst on the floor or placed on
ƒ
carpets as it can damage these and other surfaces.

or failure to observe these operating instructions.

KEEP AWAY FROM WATER
Do not use the Gisou Curling Tool near bathtubs, showers, basins or
other vessels containing water.
Keep the Gisou Curling Tool AWAY FROM bathtubs, showers, areas of

high humidity and water-filled containers at all times.
Do not immerse the Gisou Curling Tool in water and AVOID contact with
ƒ
water or other liquids.
Never touch appliances that are or have been submerged in water. In case
ƒ
the Gisou Curling Tool comes into contact with water, disconnect it from
the power supply immediately.
Never touch the Gisou Curling Tool with wet hands or feet.

CLEANING
1.
Before cleaning the Gisou Curling Tool, disconnect it from the power supply.
2.
Do not immerse the Gisou Curling Tool in water.
3.
Do not use a steam cleaner to clean the Gisou Curling Tool.
4.
To properly clean the exterior of the Gisou Curling Tool, wipe the exterior with a
damp cloth, avoiding the use of sharp, abrasive or corrosive products and detergents.
WARNING:
Cleaning and user maintenance may only be carried out by
adults. Cleaning and user maintenance may not be carried out by children or by
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities without proper
adult supervision.

STORAGE
1.
Always disconnect the Gisou Curling Tool from the power supply after use, even when
the Gisou Curling Tool is switched off.
2.
Allow the Gisou Curling Tool to cool completely.
3.
Store the Gisou Curling Tool in a cool, dry place, away from children.

DISPOSAL IN EU COUNTRIES
Do not dispose of the Gisou Curling Tool with other household or
commercial waste (the domestic refuse). As part of the EU Directive governing the disposal
of electric and electronic devices (WEEE - Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
2002/96/EC), the Gisou Curling Tool is accepted free of charge by local waste collection
points or recycling centres and recycled in a way that minimises environmental damage.
Correct disposal will help to prevent a potentially harmful impact on people and the
environment.
DISPOSAL IN NON-EU COUNTRIES
At the end of its service life, please dispose of the Gisou Curling Tool in an environmentally-
friendly manner in line with local legislation.
