Please read all of the instructions in this manual before using your Gisou Curling Tool. Visit

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
The Gisou Curling Tool is strictly intended for adult use only.
Before using your Gisou Curling Tool, please read the safety instructions outlined in this
'Gisou Curling Tool Manual' and follow them at all times, without exception.
Do not use the Gisou Curling Tool if it (including the cord) is damaged. Never attempt to
disassemble the Gisou Curling Tool.
This Gisou Curling Tool is not intended for use, nor shall it be cleaned or maintained by
children or by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, and/or
by persons who lack experience in using styling appliances such as the Gisou Curling
Tool, unless they are supervised or have been given sufficient instructions (by a person
responsible for their safety) concerning the safe use of the Gisou Curling Tool, and therefore
understand the hazards involved.
SINGLE VOLTAGE
This Gisou Curling Tool is a single voltage appliance developed for use in the EU.
If travelling abroad:
Use an adapter plug and voltage convertor/transformer with correct configurations prior to
use in a foreign outlet. NOTE: Performance of the Gisou Curling Tool will be impacted during
use at a foreign voltage that is lower than 220V.

Verify the plug type needed for outlets at the destination. In case the outlet is not
compatible with the plug of the Gisou Curling Tool, obtain and use the correct
adapter plug compatible with the outlet at the destination.
2.
If the voltage of the Gisou Curling Tool (220V) does not match the voltage at the
destination, obtain and use the correct voltage convertor. Alternatively, ensure that
the adapter plug contains a built-in compatible voltage convertor.

GETTING STARTED
The Gisou Curling Tool has 10 temperature settings and a ceramic barrel to provide styling
versatility for all hair types.
USING YOUR GISOU CURLING TOOL
1.
Make sure hair is completely dry before using the Gisou Curling Tool.
2.
Plug the Gisou Curling Tool into the electrical socket.
3.
To turn on the Gisou Curling Tool, slide the power switch located on the left hand
side of the handle to ON.
4.
Upon first time use, the temperature setting will automatically heat up to 140°C. Upon
repeated use, the temperature setting will automatically heat up to the temperature
setting which was used the last time the Gisou Curling Tool was powered on.
5.
Press the + button to increase the temperature setting incrementally until the desired
temperature is reached. Alternatively, press and hold down the + button to increase
the temperature to a higher setting at a faster pace. NOTE: A beep sounds with each
10°C temperature change. A beep will sound twice when the Gisou Curling Tool has
reached the desired temperature setting.

Press the - button to decrease the temperature setting incrementally until the desired
temperature is reached. Alternatively, press and hold down the - button to decrease
the temperature setting to a lower setting at a faster pace. NOTE: A beep sounds with
each 10°C temperature change.
7.
When the + and - buttons have not been pressed for 3 seconds, the temperature will
lock at the current setting. To unlock, press and hold down the - button for 3 seconds.
NOTE: A beep will sound after the button has been pressed down for 3 seconds to
indicate the temperature lock has been unlocked.
8.
When in use, keep a hold of the handle at all times. Never touch the ceramic heating
barrel when the Gisou Curling Tool is turned on or cooling down to avoid burns. For
more convenience during curling, hold the cooling tip at the top end of the Gisou
Curling Tool.
9.
To curl hair, coil a section of hair around the ceramic heating barrel. Hold hair around
the ceramic heating barrel for a few seconds before releasing.
10.
Repeat the action with remaining hair.
11.
In between use and/or when not in use, always place the Gisou Curling Tool on the
heat-resistant mat included, which should be placed on a stable, flat, dry and heat-
resistant surface.
12.
To turn off the Gisou Curling Tool, slide the power switch located on the left hand side
of the handle to OFF. Make sure to always turn off the Gisou Curling Tool immediately
after use.
13.
When idle but not in use, the Gisou Curling Tool will turn off automatically after 30
minutes. NOTE: In case of automatic shut-down, the ON/OFF slide will remain in the
ON position even when the Curling Tool is turned off. Make sure to slide the ON/OFF
switch to OFF before turning the switch back to ON before your next use.
14.
Always disconnect the Gisou Curling Tool from the power supply after use, even when
the Gisou Curling Tool is switched off.
15.
Allow the Gisou Curling Tool to cool completely.
16.
Store the Gisou Curling Tool in a cool, dry place, away from children.
