SWITCH-OFF
Press the [B] key for about 2 seconds.
Do not pull the power cord or appliance to disconnect the power cord [D] from the mains socket.
Put the appliance in a safe place and wait as long as necessary for the appliance to cool completely.
Standby mode
For greater safety, the appliance will automatically switch-off after 60 minutes of inactivity, while
remaining connected to the mains.
STRAIGHTENING TIPS
This appliance becomes very hot. We recommend that utmost attention be paid to
the condition of the hair that is to be treated, especially in the case of bleached and
deconstructed hair. We recommend to always test a hidden lock of hair in advance.
• Wash your hair as usual, dry and brush it to untangle any knots.
• After drying, do not use hairspray, mousse or gel.
• Hold a thin lock of hair between your fingers.
• Wrap the lock of hair around the heating element of the iron. Leave it in position for a few seconds
and then remove the iron, releasing the lock.
• Start styling from the nape of the neck and then move on to the sides and lastly to the front.
• Continue until the hairstyle is complete.
• Switch the appliance off after each use.
MAINTENANCE
In case of malfunction or damage to the appliance or a part of it, the appliance
must be analysed by the manufacturer or the relevant technical assistance or in any
case by a person with similar skills in order to prevent any risk. The user must not
disassemble the device him/herself.
After each use clean the appliance.
GENERAL CLEANING
• Always disconnect the power cord from the mains socket and make sure the appliance is
completely cool before cleaning.
• Avoid all risk of electric shock by not cleaning the appliance with water and do not
immerse it in water.
• Do not use abrasive solutions or concentrated detergents.
• Clean the appliance by using a soft cloth or slightly damp cloth.
• After use, make sure that all parts are completely dry.
