1. OVERVIEW
The MRGSM receiver combines the functions of a radio receiver and a GSM modem. It is used to manage radio memory content remotely
and in real time via the GSM/GPRS network.
Using the WinAccess software with an Internet connection, the equipment manager can carry out a large number of operations on the GSM
receiver and on the RS485 radio receivers connected above: addition, replacement, deletion, log of transmitter numbers accepted or
rejected, etc.
Location where the equipment will be used: radio receiver on gate openers.
2. WIRING

Instructions to be followed:
The MRGSM receiver must be powered via terminals 2 and 4 (see diagram) by a 24-12 VAC/DC 1A mini power supply.
The MRGSM must not be installed in a metal housing or close to a metal grate, for best reception of radio waves, the area between
the receiver and the remote controls should be free of any metal obstacles. Reception is optimised by placing the receiver at a height.
If this is not possible, an external antenna is recommended for the GSM/GPRS component and for the 433MHz component.
3. LEDs
Power LED: this LED is green and shows that the MRGSM is on.
GPRS reception status LED: there are 4 of these yellow LEDs. They display the status of the connection to the GSM/GPRS network.
While connecting to the GSM/GPRS network, they flash incrementally to show the progress of the connection. The first LED shows the
attempt to connect to the GSM network, the second indicates the attempt to connect to the GPRS network, the third to the server and the
forth shows authentication has been accepted.
Once the MRGSM receiver is connected, the GPRS reception status LEDs stop flashing and show the quality of the GSM/GPRS
connection.
Receiver status LED: there are 2 of these LEDs, one red (no. 1) and one green (no. 2), they indicate a specific receiver status.
When not flashing: they indicate that the receiver is in programming mode.
Both LEDS flashing rapidly at the same time, indicates the radio receipt of a remote control code or a call from a rejected GSM number.
Both LEDs flashing in turn, indicates that the receiver is communicating with the WinAccess software and that it is receiving programming
instructions.
