The TPE automatically recognises whether the user is programming an earlier
K-series module and then automatically emulates the KTP.
The new K-series modules have the ability to be connected to each other using a
serial BUS. It allows all the modules to be programmed from one point.
If you connect the TPE to a new K-series module you should set an identification
address. Then a scan starts for all connected modules.
The TPE recognizes automatically whether it is connected to a new K-series module
and asks to set the address.
Please see the operating instructions of K-series products in order to obtain
programming information.
If you connect the TPE to a HEADLINE module it will scan all modules that are
connected to different interconnection modules.
