4. Start-up

Always make sure the battery in the test case
EN
is fully charged prior to start-up. The green
LED in the Status panel lights when the bat-
tery is fully charged. If the red LED comes
on, use the power pack to charge the battery
via the charging socket. Always start by con-
necting the power pack to the device. The
charging socket is located on the outside of
the case on the side.

5. Test sequence (trailer side)

1. Once the test case has been activated by
way of the ON button the test sequence
can be performed.
2. Insert the plug of your trailer in the socket
provided.
Socket 15-pole 24 V
Socket 13-pole 24 V
Socket 7-pole Type N
Socket 7-pole Type S
3. Activate the trailer remote control by in-
serting the battery (9 V block).
4. Go to the back of the trailer.
5. Switch on each of the lights on the trailer
by pressing the ON/OFF buttons (red) and
the corresponding buttons.
6. The wiring is OK if the trailer symbols on
the transmitter coincide with the trailer
lighting.
7. If faulty, re-wiring should be performed or
the wiring must be altered in accordance
with the specified terminal diagram as per
ISO/DIN.

8. If the remote control does not function
(e.g. battery flat or no transmitter), an
automatic test run can be performed by
pressing the toggle switch (Autom. test
run).
