Preparation for first use:

Check to make sure the appliance is undamaged. In case of any damage, immediately contact
your supplier and do NOT use the appliance.

Remove all packaging material.

Clean the appliance with luke-warm water and a soft cloth.

Position the appliance in such a way that the plug is accessible at all times.
Usage:

Insert the plug in the wall socket.

Place the food into the tongs and place the tongs in the slots.

Turn on the appliance by rotating one of the knobs clock-wise to the desired time span (0 – 5
min). The matching light will turn on..

Once the desired time has been reached the appliance will warn you with a tone. The light will
turn off.

Crumbs which fall down during the process will be cached by the crumb tray.

When the appliance is not used for a longer period, remove the plug from the wall socket.
Cleaning and maintenance

Always remove the plug from the electrical socket before cleaning the appliance.

Attention: Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid!

Remove and clean the crumb tray.

Clean the outside with a moist cloth (water with mild cleaning agent).

Never use aggressive cleaning products or scouring products. Do not use any sharp and pointy
objects, or petrol or solvents! Clean with a moist cloth and dishwashing liquid, if necessary. Do not
use any scouring products.

Any defect that negatively affects the function of the appliance and which manifests itself within one
year after the appliance was purchased will be remedied at no cost though repair or replacement at
suppliers discretion, provided the appliance was used and maintained in accordance with the
instructions and not treated incorrectly or misused in any way whatsoever. This will not prejudice any
of your statutory rights. If the warranty is in effect, please state where and when you purchased the
appliance and include proof of purchase (e.g. the cashier's receipt or invoice).
