MAINTENANCE FOR THE SERVICE PERSON
Circulating Air Blower
The circulating air blower should be checked and cleaned annu-
ally by a qualified service person to ensure that your appliance is
operating efficiently. Any dirt or lint can affect the operation of the
blower.
Heat Exchanger
The heat exchanger is located on the right side of the wall furnace.
The heat exchanger should be inspected and cleaned annually by
a qualified service person.
Winterization
If the wall furnace is exposed to below freezing temperatures the
condensate system water trap will need to be winterized to prevent
damage to the wall furnace.
1. Remove the front cover assembly by carefully lifting up and
then pulling out away from the wall furnace.
2. Remove the front louver assembly by removing the four
screws (two each end) securing it to the outer casing.
3. Turn off the wall furnace's main power switch.
4. Remove the clear hose from the front drain tap on the inducer
housing. See Figure 65.
5. Drain the end into a container. Make sure there are no sags or
kinks in the hose that could prevent draining. See Figure 66.
6. Replace the hose onto the inducer housing when all the con-
densate has been drained.
7. Replace all panels.
