Before use, wash hands thoroughly and disinfect them.
Avoid touching any part of the catheter surface (except
for the funnel) directly.
Open the water sachet by folding and squeezing.
Make sure the whole content of the sachet is emptied
into the packaging and all of the catheter surface is
activated by the fluid for at least 30 sec.
Clean the opening of the urethra and the surrounding
area with a disinfectant suitable for mucous membranes
(observing the instructions of the manufacturer of the
disinfectant).
Open the urine bag at the front end and release the tip
of the catheter.
If the catheters sticks to the packaging please pull out
twisting it slowly at the same time.
Gently insert the catheter into the urethra until the urine
begins to flow. When the urine stops flowing, pull the
catheter out slowly.
Push back the catheter into the urine bag and seal this
by making a knot. To empty the bag tear at the back end.
Dispose of the catheter according to local authority
guidelines.
