5. CARE TIPS
Use the product only as specified in the manual. Improper use may damage the product or its environment.
Do not make technical modifications to the appliance. Repairs must only be entrusted to Holtex after sales
service.
Handle the product with care; you may damage it if you knock it, shake it or drop it even from a low height.
Never immerse the product in water or any other liquid. Avoid damp and extreme temperatures.
Regularly clean the surface with a soft cloth soaked with glass cleaner or use disinfectants suited to delicate
surfaces. Beware of corrosive or abrasive cleaning products or soap that may damage the surfaces. There is
no need to ever oil or lubricate the scale.
Store the scale flat on its feet without placing anything on it.
6. WARRANTY-LIABILITY
Thank you for purchasing a Holtex product. This product is guaranteed for 1 year from the date of purchase,
provided it is used and cared for correctly, in accordance with the user's manual.
During this guarantee period, and subject to normal use of the product, Holtex will repair or replace the defec-
tive product without billing parts or labour.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for material or non-material damage or loss. The guarantee is voided in
the event of improper use and the guarantee does not cover:
1. Transport costs and risks.
2. The cost of repairs and/or faults resulting from repairs done by anyone other than Holtex Af-
ter-Sales staff.
3. The cost resulting from non-acceptance of a complaint (such costs will be billed).
4. If the product's markings such as the model number or date of manufacture have been changed,
removed or moved or are illegible, maintenance is not free of charge.
For the addresses, refer to the packaging or product documentation or your specialist retailer.
Repair or replacement under guarantee does not extend or renew the guarantee period.
The guarantee only applies if the complete product is returned along with the bill or original sales receipt issued
in the name of the consumer by the retailer, who must have filled in the After-Sales form available for download
at www.holtex.fr.
7. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Help protect the environment by disposing of packaging in containers provided for this purpose. Do
not dispose of this appliance with domestic waste. It contains materials that can be recycled so take
it to your local recycling centre.
