1. Introduction

This unit controls the production of the salt chlorination system
which will produce only when the water requires more sanitizer.
Value of pH and oxidizer (Chlorine)
The value of the pH is a very important parameter that shows if the
water is acid, neutral or basic. The value of 7,2 is ideal.
For a better accuracy of the probe, it is recommended not to have
chlorine stabilizer (cyanuric acid) in the water.
In any case, this
stabilizer should not exceed 30 ppm (30 mg/l).
If stabilizer exceeds 30 ppm, the value given by the ORP probe is
not accurate.
The sanitizing of the salt chlorination is particularly efficient. It has to be
mentioned that if sanitizer will not reach all the areas of the pool if the
water is not adequately moved. The algae usually grow in corners and at
the bottom of the pool where there is little movement of the water. For
this reason, the walls and the bottom of the pool have to be regularly
brushed.
The input of water to top up the pool (automatic or manual filling) should
not be operating when the filtration is OFF because this new water that
will not be sanitized can give a poor operation of the control system.

2. Installation

The control system has to be installed in a dry and well aerated room.
The maximum authorized voltage is 230 V.
The control unit is designed to work with Salt chlorinators not
exceeding 300 W.
This unit should be under voltage only when the filtration pump is
in operation.
The installation has to be connected to a differential breaker of 30
mA. The installation has to comply with the NF C.15-100 norm.
The complete installation has to be done WITHOUT VOLTAGE.
