PROBLEMS
Failure in brine suction
An excessive quantity of brine is
fed into the tub
Salt consumption not corresponding to
what is expected
Intermittent or irregular brine suction
After regeneration water has not been
softened
Excessive or insufficient capacity of the
counter-washing
After regeneration, water comes out into
the output pipe or the brine tub
Hard operation water seeping

CAUSES
Insufficient input pressure
Output pipe blocked
Obstructed injector
Damaged injector
Valve 2 blocked in the open position
Valve line not sealed
Valve 1 remains open
The input speed has not been checked
Valve 2 does not remain closed during
suction
Air suction in the connection pipe to
the tub
The brine suction pipe does not draw
from the bottom of the softener
Obstructed or damaged injector
Wrong adjustment of brine adjuster
Insufficient input pressure
Damaged injector
The softener did not regenerate
Salt shortage in the tub
Valve 4 is kept too open by the mixing
screw which is too tight
By-pass valve open
Wrong type of adjuster
The adjuster is obstructed
Valves 5 and 6 remain open if water comes
out from the output pipe
Valve 1 remains open if water comes out
from the salt container
Wrong regeneration
O-ring 44F damaged
External by-pass, if present, open or mixing
screw adjusted incorrectly
SOLUTIONS
Set at least 1.4 bar
Remove obstruction
Clean injector
Replace
Remove the cause of the block
Replace the whole valve line
Manually activate the valve to remove
the cause of the block
Remove and clean the adjuster
Manually activate the valve to remove
the cause of the block
Check the tightness of brine connector
and pipes
Reposition the lower end of the blue
pipe with the filter at the bottom of the
softener
Clean or replace injector
Set up brine again
Set at least 1.4 bar
Replace injector
Repeat regeneration
Refill the salt in the tub
Check and adjust the mixing screw
Close the by-pass valve
Replace
Remove and clean
Activate them manually to remove
impurities
Activate it manually to remove
