Make sure that the connecting cable
is not squashed, bent or laid over
sharp edges and does not come into
contact with hot surfaces (including
those of the device!).
Ensure there is sufficient clear space
on all sides. Do not place the device
below kitchen wall units or similar
cupboards. The rising steam could
cause damage to them!
1. Set up the main unit  (1) on a table
or another flat, stable, heat-resistant
surface that is easy to clean.
If you are intending to prepare ke-
babs, we recommend placing a mat
under the device to provide protec-
tion from dripping fat.
2. Place the rack for rotating spits (6) on
the tray (14) in the bottom of the main
unit. Important: The toothed wheel
on the side of the rack (15) must
engage in the toothed wheel of the
main unit, and the rack must engage
in the two locking catches in the tray.
3. To prepare kebabs, lift up the rear
supporting leg (16) of the rack and
slide the fat collecting tray under-
neath until it touches the front of the
rack.
For raclette place the fat collecting
tray ON the rack.
L
The rack is not necessarily re-
quired for raclette. However, the
preparation time is reduced by
the smaller distance between the
small pan (3) and heating ele-
ment (10).
4. The grill plate  (7) has a rippled side,
e.g. for meat, fish, vegetables, mush-
rooms, and a smooth side, e.g. for
pancakes, fried eggs etc. Place the
grill plate on the main unit with the
side that you want at the top.
16
L
Even if the grill plate is not being
used, it should be placed on the
main unit to prevent any loss of
heat.
5. Fully unwind the connecting cable
and plug the mains plug into a plug
socket.

USE

Please Note!
Additional kitchen utensils used to
turn and remove the food must be
heat-resistant and be made of wood
or plastic. Metal objects or other
sharp-edged objects could damage
the non-stick coating of the grill plate
or the small raclette pans.
Ensure that there is sufficient ventila-
tion while the device is in operation.
L
Although the grill plate (7) has a
non-stick coating, we still recom-
mend that you lightly grease it.
Do not use any cooking spray as
it can attack the non-stick coating!
Basic Use
1. When the device has been set up and
connected correctly (see the "Set-Up
and Connection" chapter), flip the
I / 0 On / Off switch  (13) to the I posi-
tion to switch on the device.
2. Turn the temperature control dial  (12)
to the highest setting and allow the
device to heat up. The heat control
lamp (11) lights up during heating. It
goes out once the set temperature
level has been reached.
3. The temperature can then be reduced
as you require.
4. Prepare the food on the device (see
the "Raclette and Frying" and "Ke-
babs" sections).
