CHEMICAL CONTROL UNIT, PERISTALTIC PUMP 20-5113
Mounting of hoses
1.
Mount a 1/4" quick-release coupling on the output of the chemical container.
2.
Connect the quick-release coupling to the left-hand pipe stub on the chemical pump with a
hose. Fasten the hose to the stub with a strip.
3.
Mount a quick-release coupling on the water pipe of the hydro pump after having rough-bored
and thread-cut to 1/8".
4.
Connect the quick-release coupling to the right-hand pipe stub on the chemical pump with a
hose. Fasten the hose to the stub with a strip.
Important
Please see last page for installation drawing. All hoses and fittings, both inside and outside the pump,
must be of a chemical-resistant material, and they must be replaced once a year, no matter if they
have suffered visible damage or not. We recommend mounting the touch-button for the chemicals
control unit outside the reach of children.
Functional description
Disinfection of the bath can be carried out only when the tub is full, because the level sensor of the
main control unit only permits operation of the system when the tub is full.
1.
The hydro pump is started by pressing the touch-button of the main control unit.
2.
The chemical dosing unit is started by keeping the disinfection touch-button depressed for a
duration of approx. 10 seconds.
The LED on the disinfection touch-button lights permanently until the entire programme has been
executed.
The dosing unit is active throughout the selected time period, whereupon the chemical dosing stops.
However, the hydro pump keeps operating until it is stopped, either manually or on the touch-button
of the main control unit, or upon expiry of the timer period set on the main control unit.
The programme has now been completed, and the LED on the disinfection touch- button goes off,
and the water may be let out of the tub.
If the chemical level is low the LED in the disinfection touch-button will flash, but it will nevertheless
only do so when the dosing unit is on stand-by. During programme execution the LED will always be
on constantly.
The dosing volume is set on the numbered microswitch in the dosing unit.
