This chapter describes the most common problems that can arise using the appliance. If the problems
cannot be solved with the information below, please contact the Authorised Assistance Centre.
Problem
Scale on the wave
plate.
There are small marks
or little cracks on the
plate.
The plate (12) remains
cold or does not heat
up.
The plate temperature
LED (11) goes on and
off.
Only a little steam
or none at all is
dispensed.
The impurities that
come out
from the steam holes
stain the garments.
Impurities or pieces of
limescale emerge from
the plate.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Possible cause
Scale has deposited after the
iron has been used.
The appearance is the result
of the special hard anodised
surface.
There is no power
supply.
Normal procedure.
There is not enough water in
the reservoir (3).
The filter (14) is no longer
effective.
The filter (14) is not inserted
correctly.
Chemical additives, scented
liquids or descaling agents are
being used.
Starch is being used.
Possible limescale residue
inside the iron.
Solution
Let the iron cool down, then clean the
plate with an abrasive sponge (of the type
for cleaning dishes).
This is a special product feature, that
makes the plate highly resistant to
scratches.
Check if the power supply cable plug (7)
is inserted correctly or try inserting it in
another socket.
The plate temperature control LED (11)
switching ON and OFF indicates the
heating phase of the iron. The LED goes off
once the set temperature is reached.
Fill the reservoir (3).
When the filter (14) is no longer effective,
the electronic system modifies steam
emission to safeguard the lifespan of the
product.
Check the filter change indicator light
(8) and the acoustic signal are ON, then
replace the filter as explained in the
specific paragraph.
Cross-check the anti-scale filter insertion
process as indicated in the specific
paragraph.
These substances damage the product:
do not add additives to the water in the
reservoir.
Always spray the starch on the reverse
side of the fabric.
Use a damp cloth to remove the impurities
that have deposited on the plate.
