ORP Parameter (Oxide-Reduction potential)

ORP sensors can be used on this series of devices to measure the Oxide-Reduction Potential.
Connect the Redox electrode to the BNC type connector marked in green; instead, if necessary, connect the
temperature probe to the RCA / CINCH Temp connector always marked with a green background.
It is possible to calibrate the sensor offset by performing automatic calibration on a predefined point. The
instrument automatically recognizes the Redox solution 475 mV / 25 °C; contact the local distributor to
proceed with the purchase. The instrument can correct the sensor offset by + 75 mV.

 Use the directional keys to move to ORP SETTINGS P2.0 and access the menu by pressing the key

The table below shows the Setup menu structure for the ORP parameter; for each program there are the
options that the user can choose and the default value:

P2.6 Calibration Data
Access this menu to view (select "VIEW") or print (select "PRINT") information on the last calibration
performed:
VIEW: The following screens will scroll automatically on the display:

 First screen: CALIBRATION DATE and TIME.
 Second screen: OFFSET value of the electrode expressed in mV.
Third screen: TEMPERATURE at which the calibration was performed.

 PRINT: The following information are printed:
Model and Serial Number of the instrument.

 Calibration Date and Time.
 OFFSET value expressed in mV.
Calibration TEMPERATURE.

IMPORTANT: Make sure that the printer is connected, turned on and that the paper roll and cartridge are correctly
positioned. For more information, refer to the printer user manual.

P2.7 ORP calibration deadline
Access this menu to set a calibration deadline; this option is fundamental in GLP protocols.
 By default, no calibration deadline is set; use the directional keys to select HOURS or DAYS and access
with key . Use the directional keys to change the number that appears in the centre of the
display, entering the hours or days that must elapse between two settings, and confirm with key
.
 If a calibration deadline is set, the icon
