FIAP profiwork Fischbetäubung
The device may be used only to kill the fish. After completion of the work the unit is off. There must be
at work no physical contact with the live Poland. Defective equipment must not be opened and must be
returned to the manufacturer for repair. The device consists of safety isolating transformer and
insulation.
FIAP profiwork Fish Stunner
Primary voltage: 115 – 230 V / 50 – 60 Hz
Secondary voltage: 48 V / max. 4 A
Electrical connection
The electrical connection must be carried out according to EVU and VDE only by authorized
personnel. All performance data are provided in the plate. All work on the device only when no current
is running!
Assembly and Installation
The FIAP profiwork Fischbetäubung is fully wired. Included with the container and a control unit with
safety isolating transformer and cover. The FIAP profiwork Fischbetäubung is placed in the battle
space in accordance with hygiene requirements. The control should be protected and dry. Penetrating
water destroys the safety isolating transformer. We recommend the installation of the transformer on a
pedestal or wall. The FIAP profiwork Fischbetäubung should always be placed on flat bottom.
Operation
Between the two plate electrodes is built on a strong electric field. This field stuns or kills the fish
depending on the setting of the field strength. The FIAP profiwork Fischbetäubung is achieved in the
adjustment range 1-4 a stun the fish. Once in the Settings area 5-9 of the fish is killed. The stun time is
fixed at 90 seconds.
Since the beginning, the conductivity of the water is determined, to some "blank narcotics operations"
(without fish!) are carried out. While the LED is yellow after pressing the START button is lit, the
water is not conductive enough. Adding table salt (NaCl) increases the conductivity of the water.
Through practical experiments to increase must be added at 10 l water, 4.5 g salt (NaCl) to the
conductivity of the water. If the red LED lights up after the restart, a properly stunning process is
possible. The stun time is fixed at 90 seconds. After this time the LED turns green. Then, when the lid
is opened, the LED is off.
Is opened during the stunning operation of the tub cover, the stunning operation is immediately
interrupted.
The stunning process can also be interrupted by "Start" button at any time.

Commissioning
1. Connecting with the pre-assembled connector to connect.
2. The power supply 115 / 230 V can be produced with the plug on a correctly installed socket.
3. The container should be at least half, up to two thirds are filled with water.
4. Before the actual narcotics operation should be performed one test run (conductivity of the water is
checked).
5. Press the START button to determine the conductivity.
LED lights up yellow, not enough water is conductive. The conductivity must then be increased by
adding table salt (NaCl). Press the START button again, LED lights red, the proper narcotics operation
is possible.
6. Place in a container filled with water the fishes.
7. The START button on the controller operate and close the lid of the stun fish tank.
8. The stun time is fixed at 90 seconds.
9. After the stunning operation, the LED turns green.
10. Fish for further found.
11. After the stunning operation, the unit is off and cleaned.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Oops! Before carrying out cleaning and maintenance work to remove the plug!
By building the container can be this clean.
Regular disinfection should follow the application with FIAP proficare B100. After the end of the
workday, the water from the fish kill in the sewage is disposed of.
