General FamilyFix instructions
1. The FamilyFix is for car use only.
2. The FamilyFix may only be used together with the
Pebble or CabrioFix for children ages birth to around
12 months (group 0+, 0-13 kg) and the Pearl for children
ages 9 months to around 3½ years (Group 1, 9-18 kg).
3. You are personally responsible for the safety of your
child at all times.
4. Never leave your child unattended.
5. Do not use second hand products unless you know the
history of the product. Some parts could be broken,
torn or missing.

6. Replace the FamilyFix when it has been subject to the
severe forces of an accident: the safety of your child
can no longer be guaranteed.
7. Please read this instruction manual carefully and keep
it for future reference.
8. Use only original parts approved by the manufacturer.
WARNING :
Do not make any changes to the
FamilyFix, as this could result in dangerous situations.
FamilyFix car use
1. Before buying the FamilyFix, check to make sure it fits
properly in your car.
2. The FamilyFix is an IsoFix system that has been
approved in accordance with the latest European
guideline ECE R44/04 for "semi-universal" use.
3. It is only suitable for use in cars equipped with IsoFix
anchor points. See the car manual.
4. Check to make sure your car is listed on
the approved 'car fitting list' on www.maxi-cosi.com.
5. The FamilyFix support leg must always be unfolded
completely, locked and placed in the forward-most
position.
6. Check the proper installation of the product by
pressing the test button. Never use this product if one
of the LED indicators is red.
7. Check whether the fold-down rear seats are locked
into position.
8. Make sure all luggage and other loose objects are
secured.
FamilyFix in combination with Pebble, CabrioFix
or Pearl
1a The airbag must always be switched off when using the
FamilyFix together with the Pebble or CabrioFix on the
front passenger seat.
1b The airbag must always be switched off or the
passenger seat placed in the rearmost position when
using the FamilyFix together with the Pearl on the front
passenger seat.
WARNING :
Only install the Pebble and CabrioFix
(group 0+) in a rearward-facing position on a FamilyFix.
WARNING :
Only install the Pearl (group 1) in a
forward-facing position on a FamilyFix.
FamilyFix maintenance instructions
1. Maintain the FamilyFix regularly. Check to make sure
all electronic parts are functioning properly and that
the batteries have enough voltage by pressing the
test button.
2. If the electronic component contains the right battery
type but is no longer functioning properly, contact
your retailer. The indicators only show whether the
product has been installed correctly. If the battery
circuit is interrupted after correct installation, the
product is still safe.
3. Replace old batteries with new, high-quality ones.
Pay attention to the plus and minus poles when
installing the batteries.
4. Do not use any lubricants or aggressive cleaning
agents on this product.

Batteries
- Keep all batteries out of reach of children.
- Only use the recommended type AA (1.5 volt)
batteries. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
- Never expose this product or the batteries to fire.
- Do not use old batteries or batteries that show signs
of leakage or cracks.
- Use only high-quality new batteries.
