5.2 Load Shedding

Load shedding is used to reduce the contractual demand of the mains supply and to avoid
tripping in the event of strong current draws.
Load shedding starts as soon as the total current draw attempts to exceed the subscribed
value.
Load shedding is Cascadocyclique
In the event of overpower, GP6CPL sheds load on all the channels then gradually brings
them back into operation.
GP6CPL can perform load shedding on up to 8 channels.
Cascade load shedding: according to the power overload, the appliance returns load
to the channel in a set order: channel 1, then channel 1 + channel 2, then channel 1
+ channel 2 + channel 3, etc.
DHW (hot water tank) load is shed a last resort, when excess demand makes it
necessary.
