Mounting
For details on the input signal settings and operating methods, refer to the operating
instructions in CD-ROM of the AV-HS400AN/AE.
4-1. Setting the SDI input signals and analog input signals
4-2. Setting the up-converter
5-2. Setting the crosspoints
Notes:
p When setting the AV-HS400AN/AE (or AV-HS400N/E) system format on the SD and the output
phase is going to be used as 1H delay (not using the internal frame synchronizer), the output
image will be delayed by +2 lines during the process of Y/C separation. (The image drops
2 lines, and a black band is added to the top of the image.)
If the analog composite input signal is to be used as a PinP image, it is recommended to use
the trimming function.
p The video standard for the blanking period is different for analog composite signals and digital
signals, so the black bands will be added to the left and right sides of the image with the
analog composite signal.
If the analog composite input signal is to be used as a PinP image, it is recommended to use
the trimming function.

Removal procedure

Remove this board by following the procedures for mounting it in reverse.
