Assembling the Basket Handle
Place the Basket Handle Lock close to the
black plastic. With the Basket Handle and
Lock facing the inside of the Basket, place
one of the prongs on the Basket Handle into
the hole in the Handle Bracket. Squeeze the
ILL2
prongs together and fit the other prong into
the hole on the other side. Flip the Handle up and squeeze it together until it
fits in the grooves on the Bracket. Slide the Handle Lock into place towards
the Basket. (See Ill. 2)
Cleaning or Replacing the Filter
The Filter should be washed every 2 – 3 uses. To remove the filter, pull the
small tab on the Filter Cover towards the front of the Fryer. Lift off the Filter
Cover. Wash the Filter in warm soapy water, rinse and shake dry. Make sure
that the Filter is completely dry before replacing.
When the filter begins to fade or after approximately 25 - 30, uses the Filter
should be replaced. The Filter can be ordered with the attached order form.
NOTE: Do not use the Fryer without the Charcoal Filter and Filter Cover in place.
Removing and Replacing the Lid
Removing the Lid
When the Fryer is cool, open the Lid and place one hand on the fryer base to
hold it in steady. With the other hand, hold the Lid at a 45° angle and gently
pull the Lid towards you.
Replacing the Lid
Replace the Lid by holding it at a 45° angle and sliding the metal bar back
into the plastic hinge.
