Place your heat pump on a proper site according to guidelines provided in this manual
Keep your pool filter system clean and free of obstruction to ensure proper water flow.
Keep the evaporator clean and free from obstruction like leaves, dirt and debris that will decrease
the air flow.
Check water chemical regularly. Misuse of chemicals will cause permanent damage to your heat
pump and other pool equipment.
Heat pump should be drained of pool water and bypassed if heat pump not to be used for period of
time
Winterizing
NOTE: When water freezes, it expands to damage piping inside the heat pump, and water
lines.
Turn off the heat pump and disconnect the power supply (usually at the circuit breaker in your
house)
Turn off filter pump.
Be absolutely certain to disconnect the heat pump from the unions and drain all water lines.
Drain the exchanger to protect it from ice, disassemble the inlet and outlet connectors of the heat
pump.
Once drained part of the condenser, assemble the connectors.
Check the connectors of the heat pump to restrict of foreign bodies to the exchanger.
