ADJUSTING CROSSOVER FREQUENCY

Do the following individually for each channel.
Front and Rear Channels
Placing the switch in the HP position sets the amplifier to the High Pass mode, enabling frequencies above
the cut-off point to pass, adjustable between 40-400Hz in x1 mode or 400-4000Hz in x10 mode.
Placing the switch in the AP position sets the amplifier to the All Pass mode, preventing any crossover
adjustment, allowing all frequencies to pass.
Placing the switch in the LP position sets the amplifier to the Low Pass mode, enabling frequencies below
the cut-off point to pass, adjustable between 40-400Hz in x1 mode or 400-4000Hz in x10 mode.
Sub Channel
The Sub Channel is Low Pass only, enabling frequencies below the cut-off point to pass, adjustable
between 32-250Hz.There is no multiplier swith for the Sub Channel crossover.
Turn the crossover adjustment knob all the way down. With the system playing, turn the crossover
adjustment knob up slowly until the desired crossover point is achieved.
FREQUENCY MULTIPLY SWITCH (Crossover - Front and Rear)
Do the following individually for the Front and Rear channels.
This switch sets the multiplier for the crossover frequencies.
Placing the switch in the x1 position (Out Position) sets the adjustable crossover frequency to 40-400Hz.
Placing the switch in the x10 position (In Position) sets the adjustable crossover frequency to 400-4000Hz.
SLOPE SWITCH (Crossover - Front and Rear)
Do the following individually for the Front and Rear channels.
Used to select between a 12dB/octave Butterworth or 24dB/octave Linkwitz-Riley filter.
If you are unsure as to the correct setting of this feature, consult your local Authorized Rockford Fosgate
dealer for the correct recommended setting for your specific system.
When in doubt, select the 24dB setting.
INFRASONIC FILTER (Sub Channel)
Placing the switch to "ON" engages a 28Hz infrasonic filter limiting the amount of low frequency
information going to the woofer. Set this to your personal preference while listening to the system one
way, then the other.
NOTE: We recommend using the infrasonic filter when using vented enclosures with this amplifier.
