Stair installation and connection with extensions:
If you would like to install the door gate at the bottom of a staircase or together with extensions,
please observe the guidelines on page 11
ATTENTION: The gate must always open in the direction away from the hazard zone!
Installation
In order to limit the opening direction, installation of the stopper (j) Fig. 1 is optional.
Step 1
Insert the 4 screw housings (a, c, d) together with the adjusting screws (e) and (f) into the 4
corners of the gate. Please follow the instructions of Fig. 2 - 5 exactly when inserting the parts
(a, c, d).
Push the screw housings (a) and (d) in completely, Fig. 2, Fig. 3, Fig. 5.
Attention! The screw housings (a, c, d) do not have an inside thread. The screws are merely
pushed in or pulled out.
Place the safety gate on the floor and, using a spirit level, make sure the gate stands upright in
the middle of the doorway so that there is no more than 62 mm between the safety gate and the
door frame on either side. Fig. 6
Step 2
Clamp shell assembly (g)
The clamp shells (top: g+g2, bottom: g+g1) are firmly pressed onto the head of the respective
adjustment screw.
Remove the adhesive film from the lower clamp shell (g2). Then pull out the lower adjusting
screws on both sides of the door gate evenly until they firmly touch the assembly planes, Fig.7, 8
and 9.
CAUTION:
Pull out the upper adjusting screws on both sides of the door gate evenly until they firmly touch
the assembly planes, Fig. 10. Turn the adjusting screws back a little bit. There are 3 marking

(danger of trapping a finger!). If the gap is less than 5 mm or more than 12 mm, there is no
