Checking the sleep temperature of the soldering
iron:
In order to effect this verification it is necessary to
make an electric bridge between the iron and the
stand through the cable connector Ref. 0780476
supplied with the thermometer.
1. Connect the ends of the cable to the metal
parts of the stand and the handpiece.
2. The soldering tip must be well tinned.
3. Apply solder in the center of sensor.
4. Wait a moment until the reading temperature
becomes stabilized.
5. Read the temperature.
Calibration procedure of TI 2800
1. Pull out the sensor.
2. Adjust at a temperature of 20ºC (68ºF).

4. Apply a voltage of 34.7mV and verify the
temperature shown in the thermometer is the
following value:

5. Adjust the reading at ambient temperature
with slotted screw driver (Fig. A), then insert
the sensor.
NOTE: for
galvanometer can also be adjusted through
the potentiometer placed inside the unit.
