OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Pre-Charging
The Hybrid Booster must be pre-charged before it can be used to jump start your vehicle. The "Standard
Mode" instructions will guide you through the process of using your vehicle's currently 'weak' battery to
pre-charge the Booster. If your vehicle's battery is completely discharged or defective, see the "Override
mode". This device can also be pre-charged onboard a 12V vehicle, by using the DC cigar-lighter cable
provided.
Standard mode
1. Connect clamps to battery terminals. The device will automatically turn on.
The digital display will show the voltage of the vehicle's battery.
The Booster will start to recharge automatically. The digital display shows the charging percentage of the
internal Ultracapacitors.
2.When the ignition symbol appears, turn on your engine. You
can also wait until "FUL" is displayed and Buzzer sounds.
If the battery of the vehicle is defective, please go to the manual recharging mode below. If the vehicle
does not start after the first attempt, please wait 15 minutes before trying again. Be sure to turn OFF the
air conditioning, radio, lights and any other accessories before the jump starting. Never touch the clamps
together!

Override mode:
In case the battery of the vehicle is defective and not working, please use this mode to start your vehicle:
1.Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 2 seconds. The device's internal battery will start to recharge the
Ultracapacitors.
2.Once the display shows the ignition symbol, press the ON/OFF button for 2 seconds.
3.When ignition symbol is displayed and the buzzer sounds, please turn your engine on.
Do not start your vehicle if there is no battery connected. Failure to comply could result in damage to the
vehicle's ECU. The manufacturer will not accept responsibility for any damage caused by incorrect use of
this product.
Diesel Pre-Heat Mode:
In cold weather, the glow plugs in most diesel vehicles will energize first to heat the fuel before the engine
starts (as indicated by the GLOW symbol on the dashboard). The process takes about 4-6 seconds. In this
case, after the Booster is fully recharged and connected, press the Diesel Pre-Heat button and turn on the
ignition.
Note: The Diesel Pre-Heat Mode is inactive under the Override mode.
Internal Battery Pack:
This Booster is equipped with an internal lithium battery. Recharge the battery with a micro USB charger
with an output of 2 Amps. Once a Micro USB charger is connected, the internal battery will recharge
automatically. Recharge time: 5-8 hours. Make sure the internal battery is always charged. Leaving the
battery discharged will damage it.
