COMMISSIONING
Recharge the built-in rechargeable battery completely before each use.
M ake sure that the power rating of your mobile device matches that of the device
(see "Technical data" chapter).
Always read the operating instructions of your mobile device.
Do not short circuit the USB input/output of the power bank.
a) Checking the charge level of the built-in rechargeable battery
Press the control key on the power bank briefly to check the charge level of the built-in re-
chargeable battery. An alternating light indicates that the power bank is checking the battery.
Then the LEDs will indicate the charge status (1 LED = 25%, 2 LEDs = 50%, 3 LEDs = 75%,
4 LEDs = 100%). A single flashing LED indicates that the charge level is below 25%.
T he power bank will turn off and the blue LEDs will go dark after a few seconds, if no
USB device is connected.
b) Charging the internal rechargeable battery via USB adapter
• Unplug the device which is connected to the power bank's charging output.
I t is not possible to simultaneously use the charging output and recharge the power
bank.
• C onnect the micro USB socket using the supplied USB Y-cable to an appropriate USB
power supply (e.g. the power supply that came with your mobile device/smartphone). It
must be capable of supplying a current of at least 1 A.
I t is not important which of the two USB-A connectors of the USB-Y cable is used.
• The LEDs indicate the status of the battery during charging.
S teady lit LEDs indicate the actual charging degree (1 LED steady = battery is charged
25% , 2 LEDs = 50%, 3 LEDs = 75%, 4 LEDs = 100%), while flashing lights indicate the
remaining part of the battery which still has to be recharged.
E xample: 3 LEDs are on, one LED is flashing: The battery has been charged up to at least
75%, and is charging the remaining 25%.
• T he charging time depends on the charge status of the battery and can last for several
hours (for charging time of a fully discharged battery, see chapter "Technical data").
• O nce the built-in rechargeable battery is fully charged, disconnect the power bank from the
voltage/current supply. The power bank is now ready for use.
c) Charging the built-in rechargeable battery via the USB port of a computer
• Unplug the device which is connected to the power bank's charging output.
I t is not possible to simultaneously use the charging output and recharge the power
bank.
• C onnect both USB A plugs of the USB Y-cable supplied with your PC or a USB hub
equipped with its own power supply. Due to the two USB plugs the current accumulates (at
USB2.0, each 500 mA) which make charging via the power bank possible.
