The refrigerator must be plugged into its own dedicated 115V, 60Hz, 15 Amp electrical outlet. Be sure not to circumvent the
grounding plug (third prong) on the outlet as it protects against electrical shock hazards.
NOTE: Keep these points in mind as well:
• Do not use an extension cord with this appliance. If the power cord is too short, have a qualified electrician or service
technician install an outlet near the appliance. Use of an extension cord can negatively affect the performance of the unit
and create a fire hazard.
• Avoid plugging a refrigerator into a GFCI outlet as it may cause the outlet to trip and is NOT recommended.
• Avoid electrical outlets controlled by a wall switch.
• Avoid plugging the unit into an outlet that has insufficient power. This could damage the compressor and void the war-
