12. How to reset the DT2000

If you forget the User PIN or want to delete all data stored on the DT2000, follow the
instructions below.
The reset process will clear all cryptographic parameters, including the User PIN. This means
that the DT2000 will revert to the default User PIN of 11223344 - see section 4 on page 6 on
how to change the User PIN. Also, since this will force the creation of a new encryption key, the
DT2000 will have to be reformatted (see section 13 or 14).
Caution: Resetting the DT2000 will delete all data stored on the drive.
