PLACEmENT
Where to Put the HF 280
Since the HEPA filter and ionic air purifier use a fan and blow a strong current of air out the
top of the unit, it is not necessary to place the unit at a high elevation. The unit can be placed
on the floor, a table, a countertop, or on a shelf.
• The back of the unit should be at least 8 inches away from the wall, to prevent
discoluoration of the wall.
• There should not be any obstructions above the air outlet on top of the air purifier.
• There should be at least 2 feet of space between the top of the air purifier and any object
or surface above it.
• Finally, keep the unit at least 3 feet away from computers, televisions, and sensitive
electrical equipment
OPERATINg INSTRuCTIONS
POWER ON/OFF
• Press the POWER ON/OFF button. The device starts operating.
• Press POWER ON/OFF again and the device will stop working.
ION•UV ON/OFF
• Press the "ION.UV" button to turn the Ionizer/UV functions ON and OFF. The LED
indicator light will show when this function is ON.
Fan Speed/Air Flow
• There are three fan speed options: Low, Medium, and High.
Timer ON/OFF
• Press TIMER button to set operation timing.
• Under the operation function, the operation timing will be set according to the number of
times you press the TIMER button. The LED will show the following sequence of timing:
