PARKING
Slowly apply the brakes to decelerate and stop, then place your foot on the ground. Get off the scooter only when it
comes to a complete stop. Use the kickstand to stabilize the scooter when it is stopped.
(Note: Do not ride the electric scooter in heavy rain or for prolonged periods on wet ground. Excessive use of the
brakes can cause premature tire wear).
REMARK
Like many sports, riding an electric scooter can be dangerous. If you choose this electric scooter you are responsible
for its driving and the risks that this entails. It is important that you respect the regulations in force, for your safety and
that of other road users.

MAINTENANCE

10.
MAINTENANCE
To extend the life of your Hikerboy scooter, we recommend that you regularly check the tightness of the screws,
wheels, folding system, handlebars, and brakes. If any parts come loose, tighten them by turning them clockwise.
INFLATION OF TIRES
Check the tire pressure regularly, at least a week before your scooter trip. The minimum and maximum pressure are
indicated on the side of the wheels. The pressure can be indicated in Bar or in Kilopascal (1 kPa = 0.01 bar). Always
make sure the tires are inflated to the recommended pressure. In order to check the tire pressure you can use a
bicycle pump equipped with a gauge.
If the pressure is too low, the wheels may be damaged, or the inner tube may be crushed. If the pressure exceeds the
recommendations, the tires could injure you or someone nearby.
LUBRICATION
It is recommended to lubricate your electric scooter every month: in the fold of the tube.
Note: Do not use the WD40 to lubricate the parts and never lubricate the front and rear wheels, it will damage the
brake system. (If in doubt, consult your dealer.)
