CONVERTING VIDEO FILES TO .AMV FORMAT

You need to convert your video files using the "AMV  Video  converter" software
provided, in order to ensure that the video files on the MP4 player can be read. Files can
only be converted on your computer. Once the files have been converted, you need to
copy them onto your MP4 player in order to be able to play them.
Important: To convert video files, you need to install the Microsoft DirectX 9.0 app or a higher
version onto your computer. If you want to convert video files to RM, MOV or MPEG format,
you need to install an associated DirectShow filter beforehand.
For media management in Windows XP and Windows 2003, please make sure you have
installed Microsoft Media Player 10.0 or higher and Microsoft .NET framework 3.0.
To install the conversion software onto your PC, open a file called "UTILITIES > Video
Conversion Software" stored on the MP4 player's internal memory or on the CD-ROM
provided (you need to copy this file on your computer to install the software).
Click on the "Setup.exe" file to automatically start installation of the software onto
your computer.
Once the installation has been completed, double click on the software conversion icon
on your computer to launch the software or click on: "Start > All programs > AMV
