Unless otherwise specified in the technical data, the following color codes apply to the power supply and
signal connections for components included in Festo Didactic's learning system for automation and
technology.
Color
Meaning
Voltage greater than SELV
e.g. line voltage of 90 to 400 V AC per conductor
(grey)
Neutral conductor
(gray-blue)
Undefined potential,
results during the course of experiments
(white)
Protective conductor
(green-yellow)
The specified protection class and safe use can only be ensured if laboratory safety cables supplied by Festo
Didactic are used.

7 Description

The Sub-distributor EduTrainer
breakers with various characteristics are used. Building installation components such as an earthing contact
socket, a 3-phase mains outlet (implemented by means of 4 mm safety sockets), a lamp and a light switch
can be connected to the circuit breakers by means of jumpers.
And thus all measurements required for proper transfer of a building installation to a customer can be
conducted with a measuring instrument per EN 61557.
A variety of faults can be introduced using the integrated fault generator, in order to render measurement as
realistic as possible.
