4.1.1 Full Scan

To make sure that the station list in your radio is up to date please carry out a full scan from time to
time. To start the full scan:
Press MENU turn SELECT to 'Full scan' press SELECT to confirm.
TheRadio will scan all the DAB channels and add any new stations available into the station list.

4.1.2 DRC (Dynamic Range Control)

The DRC options is mainly used in very noisy environments. With DRC enabled quiet passages in an
audio track are played louder while the louder passages remain at their volume level. The volume
dynamic is compressed.
But this is only working if the broadcasting station is supporting the DRC feature.
1. Press MENU turn SELECT to 'DRC', press SELECT to confirm.
2. Turn SELECT to browse through the options: off/low/high.
3. Press SELECT to confirm your preferred option.

4.1.3 Prune

If you have lots of outdated stations in your station list you can delete these stations by selecting
'PRUNE' from the menu. But please be careful, this function will remove all stations which are not
available at the moment. Even if these stations are only temporarily not available. So if you are
missing some stations afterwards which actually should be available please start a full scan. This is
described in chapter 4.1.1
1. Press MENU turn SELECT to 'Prune', press SELECT to confirm.
2. Turn SELECT to 'Yes', press SELECT to confirm.

4.2 Additional Information

With the DR 330 you can view additional information which the stations are broadcasting in the
second line of the display.
In the DAB mode you can select out of this options: scrolling text, title, artist, signal strength, genre,
ensemble name, channel and frequency, signal error rate, bitrate, time and date.
You can shift through this information by pressing the INFO button repeatedly.
a. Set DRC to off means no compression;
b. Set DRC to low indicates little compression;
c. Set DRC to high shows maximum compression.
