Choosing the test time
In certain cases, for operational reasons (in cinemas, theatres, anti-intruder systems in bank vaults, etc.), it
may be necessary to impose a specific time for the tests.
Before beginning, check that the green LED on all units is either lit continuously or flashing. If, after 24 hours
charging, the LEDs on one of the units still flash green/orange alternately, replace its batteries.
1 - Global choice for the whole installation
All units are tested at the same time. This programming option only applies to an installation equipped with
the remote control unit ref. 039 01. Determine the test time with the power on and the units in standby mode
(green LED lit).
At the chosen test time :
- Press the "ALLUMAGE" (ON) button on the 039 01 : the green
LED illuminates for 6 seconds and then goes out.
- In the 3 seconds after the LED goes out, press the
"ALLUMAGE" (ON) button on the 039 01 again : the green LED
illuminates for 6 seconds and goes out.
- 3 seconds later, the unit LEDs flash green/orange alternately
for 5 seconds. Then the green LED stays on continuously or
flashing depending on its previous state.
The previous test results are erased.
All the units are in standby mode. The units with automatic testing will be tested at the chosen time (the day
will vary depending on which unit is being tested).
Note : In the case of a mixed installation comprising some units which cannot be tested automatically :
- Wait 3 seconds, then end by pressing the "EXTINCTION" (OFF) button on the 039 01.
2 - Choosing the time unit by unit
Each unit must be programmed individually.
At the chosen time :
- Remove the diffuser.
- Hold down the test button for 5 seconds until the
LEDs flash (flashing green/orange).
- Release.
After 5 seconds, the orange LED goes out, and the
green LED stays on or flashes depending on its
previous state.
The previous test results are erased.
The unit will be tested at the chosen time (the day
will vary depending on which units is being tested).
Note : This option is possible even if the
installation has already been programmed
according to step 1.
